After five of our girls experienced being on a swim team and learned the value of regular exercises, two of them brought it to our morning walks. They led the girls to practice a variety of exercises the swim coach always had them do at the beginning and end of weekly practices.
So we ended each waling day with these exercises at the top of the hill. All of the girls participated as best as they could. At times, these yoga poses became part of the stretching and balancing.
At first, you would see some topping, but with practice more stood tall and sturdy as a tree- a value the girls have embraced.
Staying fit and moving has always been apart of our daily routine, with the girls discovering new yoga poses and sharing with everybody.
